£10 per hour weekends £11 per hour Waking nights £13 per hour


We are looking for support assistant for a 32 year old lady who is requiring support in the family home

Hobbies include swimming, bowling and shopping and you will be required to support her to do these activities.

Preferably to have experience of care work and training with NVQ2 and upwards in health and social care 

Epilepsy and first training preferable but not essential



11-4 Monday-Friday

6-9pm Monday & Wednesday

Every other Saturday 11-4PM 

Other Requirements

*Sch. 9 s. 1 (1) Equality Act 2010 applies

Must be comfortable with pets-Pug

Must have a UK driving licence

Must have access to own vehicle

Other : No smoking in the work environment, no mobiles a work mobile will be provided

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.



Typical duties

Personal Care:

Washing and bathing/showering – towelling dry/ drying hair

Supervision and/or assistance with showering, drying, hair washing/ brushing as required

Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required

Using the toilet 

Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings


Accompanying and assisting employer on shopping trips when required

Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities, including to swimming.

The successful applicant will be: 

Female * due to personal care needs  

Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality

Reliable with good time-keeping

Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative

Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised

Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Honest and cheerful


Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard

Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom

Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
