29th March 2021 - Basic First Aid - 9:30am - 2pm - Zoom

This training session will provide a thorough overview of basic first aid. It's based in a classroom in our office in Worthing - and as well as demonstrations, there will be opportunities to join in and practise.

The course will run for approximately five and a half hours and course attendees will learn the following:

• First Aid legislation
• The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
• How to assess an incident
• Requirements of the First Aid box
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Recovery position
• Choking
• Burns and scalds
• Control of bleeding
• Dealing with shock
• Care of the unconscious
