My work has always centered around supporting individuals with disabilities or complex health care needs. I first joined Independent Lives in 2005 and have worked in a variety of roles here including Personal Health Budget Lead, Integrated Services Manager and now Director of Services.

My main passion is working alongside local authorities, the NHS, and individuals with lived experience to ensure that the health and social care system works in a personalised way.

I have a level 5 diploma in leadership and management and attended Cambridge University social venture business school, and I am currently studying towards an Masters in senior leadership (MBA).

I am a member of the Independent Living Strategy Group chaired by Baroness Jane Campbell and a board member of both the London Self Directed Support Forum and PBS4, a social enterprise which supports people with learning disabilities.
