About the opportunity

Interested in learning administration skills and being a part of a busy, friendly and supportive office? This opportunity is for those wanting to build up their experience of office administration. You can use and learn more about Microsoft programmes and play a part in ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.


What are we looking for?

Looking for those who wish to expand their office administration skills and experience. You will need to have attention to detail and basic skills with Microsoft but we will be happy to support those who are wanting to refresh or expand their skills in a busy office environment.

Tasks will range from reception duties, post opening, scanning, filing, room booking, ordering office consumables to monitoring stock, updating spreadsheets and writing letters. We would be happy to discuss the range of tasks if there were some you weren't keen on.


Practical considerations

Independent Lives reimburses out of pocket expenses for volunteers. Minimum 2 hours a week but great flexibility in terms of when you would like to come in.
