As the NHS moves towards a more personalised health and care system, it’s important for you to have a clear idea of what this new, more targeted approach to health and care means.

On this free online course you’ll learn what personalised care is, and how it can benefit the whole population in England. You’ll also hear how it works in practice.

There has never been a more important time to help shape and influence how health and care is delivered in England. Demand for health and care services has increased in recent years, more people are living with a long-term condition and we’re experiencing a pandemic.

It makes sense that the only way to ensure that the NHS meets everyone’s needs, is to involve people who use their services, and especially those who are living with a long-term health condition, disabled people and family carers.

Who is the course for?

The course is open to everyone, but is mainly aimed at people with long-term conditions and disabilities and their carers who want to improve their situation by gaining knowledge of personalised care. The programme would also be of particular interest to anybody working in the health, social and voluntary sectors.
