Buddy / Support Worker DP933 Job Title: Buddy / Support WorkerLocation: Shoreham/Worthing Hourly rate: £14.00 inclusive Reference: DP933 Hours/shifts: Every other Saturday 10am – 3pm with possible overnight respite shift later down the lineSummary • I’m a 28-year-old woman looking for a kind and friendly buddy/ support worker to help me access the community. You’ll need access to your own car and a full driving license. • Currently, I’m just looking for someone to take me out and about to the places that we’re allowed to visit. I really enjoy walking (especially in the countryside) so I’m looking for someone who enjoys that as much as me! I am very scared of dogs so they would need to avoided as much as possible • I am happy for these hours to be filled by one or a combination of PAs Once i get to know you there may be the request for an overnight respite shift at your house, therefore I need a PA that does not have their own dogs please. Other Requirements • Must have a UK driving licence • Must have access to own vehicle• Other : All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service checkSuccessful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts. The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission.
