Activities for older people, people with support needs, and people with Dementia that live in Adur

When you are caring for someone it’s really important you get some time to yourself.

We support older frail people and people with Dementia, and arrange suitable transport so that the person you care for is picked up and returned home safely.

Our trained staff and volunteers will work with you and the person you care for to put together a programme of activities that suit their needs and interests.

Day trips on Monday and Tuesdays

We can take your loved one out for a day trip locally. We will speak to you and your loved one to find where you would like to visit and what activities appeal to you.

Our trained staff and volunteers will pick up the person you care for in an accessible minibus and take them out for the day with a group.  £32.50 per session (lunch and refreshments provided).

All day on Fridays at Lancing Parish Hall

A day of activities at Lancing Parish Hall including entertainment, arts and crafts, lunch and refreshments and time to socialise. Transport is provided. £32.50 per session 

1:1 Support (Fridays)

Would you like one to one support for the person you care for? We offer up to four 4 hour sessions, to support you and the person you care for get used to attending the Friday session above. The 1:1 support can be in your own home, or at Lancing Parish Hall. Total cost: £120 per person.

How do I book on?

If you are new to the Carers Respite Service in Adur, then you will need an assessment. Please complete the Referral Form and return to [email protected] or by post to:
