Job Title: Domestic & Social Support Assistant
Location: Bognor Regis
Hourly rate: £9.50 per hour

Hours/shifts: 12 noon – 3pm Wednesday & Friday


• Support Assistant
• Social Support Assistant
• 6 hours per week @ £9.50 per hour
• A.B.I. - Early 60’s and young in spirit
• Occasional domestic tasks
• Occasional preparing lunch
• Mainly assisting employer to access the local community
• Able bodied but very poor memory
• Employer is open, easy going with a good sense of humour
• Enjoys, arts & craft, socializing, scrabble, gardening, coffee & chat….etc

Other Requirements

• Must have a UK driving licence
• Must have access to own vehicle

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

Typical duties
Domestic -
Occasional assistance with laundry and General housework
Occasional preparing of drinks, snacks and meals.

Personal Care:
Guidance with choosing what to wear
No direct personal care required.

Accompanying and assisting employer on shopping trips when required
Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities
Accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required
Accompanying when clothes-buying
Occasional longer journeys
Accompanying on general trips out and events
Accompanying to meetings with friends, family etc

• Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
