Job Title: Female Personal Assistants
Location: Felpham, Bognor
Hourly rate: £10 weekdays, £11 weekday evenings and weekend day, £12 weekend evenings

Hours/shifts 9am- 11am every morning, 8pm – 10pm every evening (can be flexible and a job share is available) plus 3 hrs a week for social support

Summary 

I am a very independent person looking for people to support me at home. I am chatty and sociable but my confidence has been affected by the current circumstances. I am hoping you will be able to help build my confidence back up so I can go out and about (which I love doing). You will be an incredibly valued employee and essential to my well-being. I feel this could be a very rewarding role and training can be provided.

Description
Typical duties

Domestic -

I have a cleaner once a week so you would only need to keep hygiene areas clean and help me to make sure things are kept tidy.

I need some one to change my bed and wash my bed linen.

Personal Care: 
I need help to get in and out of bed. I use a hoist and am learning how to self hoist myself but need support currently.
I need support with getting dressed and undressed and having a shower.
I need my pads changed regularly as I am doubly incontinent.
Sometimes I need help to clean my teeth
Support with medication

Social: 
I would like support to build up my confidence with going out again which has been impacted due to Covid.
I need support to attend appointments and also to get out to do things like shopping.

Person specification
The successful applicant will be: 
• Female * due to personal care needs
• Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable with good time-keeping
• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest and cheerful
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
