We envisage that we will require more care in the future, however. Summary Our daughter is 18 and in her final year of Sixth Form at our local Special Educational School. She attends college one day a week and has recently started work experience on a Friday. She lives with myself and her dad at home. She has moderate learning difficulties and autism. She is independent with her personal care needs, can communicate her needs and wishes, and enjoys 1:1 company. Her interests are horse riding, musical theatre, art and craft, scooting, airplanes, going to Spain and learning Spanish, listening to music, cooking and going to the cinema. Work will primarily be based in our home and local community to begin with, although we hope to widen her horizons as she matures.
