Work in social care Working as a Personal Assistant Female* Support Worker DP3024 Location: Bognor Regis (candidate ideally local to customer) Hourly rate: £8 per hour + mileage allowances for appointments Reference: DP3024 Hours/shifts: 17 hours per week minimum. Must be flexible. Generally 2 hours per day. Monday – Friday more than 1 visit per day. Other ad-hoc hours available as required and mutually agreed with employer/employee. Purpose of the Post: The PA will support the employer to enable her to live independently in her own home. The work involves providing assistance with personal care, cleaning and domestic tasks, meal preparation. The PA will report directly to the employer. The PA will ensure the employer’s safety at all times. Employee must be willing to help with care of cats. Pay & Allowances: £8.00 per hour + mileage allowance for appointments. Contract of employment and 4.8 weeks paid leave as provided. About the Employer: I am a 60 year old woman living on my own at home. My mobility is severely impaired and so I need a lot of assistance in my day to day living. I have short term memory problems and suffer with severe anxiety. You will be down to earth, easy going, empathic (not sympathetic), supportive and friendly. Most of all you will be patient. You should be able to perform all tasks on the job description with guidance where appropriate.
