Job Title: Female* Support Worker

Location:  Crawley          

Hourly rate:  £10 per hour

Hours/shifts: Hours to be discussed



  • Female Support Worker required for a 10 year girl
  • The young girl is nonverbal so may require previous experience of communicating in different ways but not essential
  • Personal care support required, support with toileting and changing pads
  • Social Support required to access the community and to play and think of fun activities

Other Requirements

  • "Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9."
  • Must have a UK driving licence
  • Must have access to own vehicle

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.


Typical duties


  • Laundry: hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
  • Laundry: Loading and unloading the washing machine

  • making the bed
  • General cleaning
  • General housework




  • Accompanying during social and leisure activities
  • Occasional longer journeys
  • Accompanying on trips out
  • Driving and accompanying to social events

The successful applicant will be:

  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
  • Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
