Work in social care Working as a Personal Assistant Female* Support Worker/Personal Care Assistants BRR5801 Location: Worthing Hourly rate: £9.00 per hour, £7.50 per half hour Reference: BRR5801 Summary • 64 year old lady living with her husband in Worthing requires Support Workers/ Personal (Care) Assistants to enable her to live independently in her own home. • She has cerebral palsy, osteoarthritis and leg ulcers which has resulted in pain and reduced mobility. She also has some visual impairment. • She requires assistance with washing/dressing, toileting, getting up and going to bed. • You would be required to use a hoist. • Other duties will include meal preparation, preparing drinks and domestic tasks• You must be friendly, reliable, patient and trustworthy. • Must be comfortable with pets as the lady owns a cat. • A job share between 2-3 PAs would be considered, please apply for the shifts you are able to cover. • You will report directly to the lady who is the employer. Hours/Shifts 1 hour am x 6 days30 mins. x 6 days at lunchtimes30 mins. x 6 days at tea time30 mins. x 6 days evenings, approx. 9pmTimes to be arranged, every day apart from Friday needed.
