Summary

Part time PA required in Crawley - £10.00 ph
Assist employer to and from Hindu Temple via bus
No car ownership or driving required.
Hours 11am-2.00pm
You will be required to assist employer and his wheelchair
Occasionally assist to access toilet

Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.

Description

I am an easy-going Middle-aged gentleman with MS looking to engage a Social Support assistant.

To assist me to access my local community in my electric wheelchair. This will mainly be visiting my local Hindu Temple each day.

No driving required.

Social

To assist me to access my local community in my electric wheelchair. This will mainly be visiting my local Hindu Temple each day via the local bus.

Person specification

The successful applicant will be:
• Male * due to personal care needs
• Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality
• Reliable
• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patience, honest and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common-sense approach to these roles.
