Job Title: Mothers Help/PA

Hours/shifts: 14 hours a week, 9.30am – 12.30pm Mon, Weds and Fri plus 2 extra hours as needed.

Summary 
• I am a very pregnant mum with two young children with another arriving in the next month
• I urgently need someone to help support me at home and with my children
• I would like someone who is able to ‘jump in’ and help with whatever is needed on the day
• Your main role would be to help around the home keeping things clean, tidy and organised
• You would also be required to provide support with the children so someone with experience of children is needed
• I have chickens so can offer you fresh eggs too!
• Location is rural so a car is essential.

Other Requirements 
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must have a UK driving licence
• Must have access to own vehicle

Description
Typical duties

Domestic - 
Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
Helping with laundry, washing and drying
Loading and unloading the washing machine
Loading and unloading tumble dryer/washing line
Changing bed linen
Bed making
General cleaning
Taking out rubbish
General housework, including cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
Occasional meal preparation
Making up baby’s bottle

Personal Care: 
• Occasional support with having a bath
• Occasional baby nappy change

Social: 
• To take children out if needed to the play park etc

Person specification
The successful applicant will be:

• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
• Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised
• Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
• Patience and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Honest and cheerful

• Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety
• Be sympathetic to mental health issues
• Experience with children not necessarily in a working capacity
Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
