West Sussex County Council will soon offer new and existing customers a direct payment prepaid online card account.

A prepaid online card account is an alternative way of receiving your direct payment. There is no bank account attached to the card, the direct payment is simply loaded onto the card.

You can also use the prepaid online card account to make payments over the internet or over the telephone, set up direct debits and standing orders to pay for services you access using your personal budget.

Prepaid online cards will become the Council’s default way of making direct payments.

To help you decide if you would like to participate in the group moving to prepaid cards in July the Council will be holding three events to give you more information about the prepaid online card accounts:

  • Wednesday 2 May 2018, 10.30-12.00 in the Longley Room, Crawley Library, RH10 6HG
  • Thursday 3 May, 10.30-12.00 in the Chichester Room, Field Place, Worthing, BN13 1NP
  • Friday 4 May 2018, 10.30-12.00 in Committee Room 3, County Hall, Chichester, PO19 1RQ

Spaces are limited, so if you would like to attend then please contact Jacquie Bickers via email: [email protected] or phone: 0330 222 3643.

If you are unable to attend the meetings but would still like to participate in the July group, or if you have any other questions, please use the same contact details set out above.
