• I am looking for a carer for my 25 year old son.  He has Angelman Syndrome, a neurogenetic disorder characterised by lack of expressive or receptive language skills and a very happy disposition.  He is unable to walk independently and uses a wheelchair but can weight-bear and enjoys either being out and about or simply out of his wheelchair.  He has epilepsy but this is very well controlled and he has been happily seizure free for a number of years.
• He currently attends day care centres each day throughout the week which are a short distance from his home.  I am looking for a carer to meet him at his day care facility in Crawley and provide one-to-one care for him throughout the day, including feeding him lunch, undertaking personal care and ensuring he is kept happy and well-occupied.
• I am also looking for someone to undertake shifts at our home in Burgess Hill on occasional evenings (probably once or twice a week, by mutually acceptable arrangement).
