Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: Southbourne near Emsworth
Hourly rate: £11 weekdays and £12 weekends

Hours/shifts: 14.5 hrs a week - 4 hrs each on Sat and Sun, 4.30pm – 6.30pm Tues and Thurs and 2.5 hrs flexible support.


Summary 


I am a mum who is looking for some support over the week for myself and with my young son
You would be needed to support me in my role as mum, helping to care and entertain
But also to help me with tasks around the home such as tidying, helping prepare food and admin
I would also like to be able to get out the house to go shopping or just to get out as I find this very hard
The role would suit a job share and there is some flexibility in the hours

Other Requirements • Must be comfortable with pets
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must have a UK driving licence
• Must have access to own vehicle

Description
Typical duties

Domestic:       
Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
Helping with laundry, washing and drying
Loading and unloading the washing machine
Loading and unloading tumble dryer/washing line
Changing bed linen
Bed making
General cleaning
Taking out rubbish
Tidying
Preparing meals
Correspondence e.g. reading letters, help writing replies, form-filling, assisting with household paperwork
Making phone calls on my behalf when I am too unwell to do this


Personal Care:  
help keep medications ordered/taken

Social:    
Pick up click and collect Tesco shopping
Local shop/café visits (maybe push wheel chair) to try and get me out of the house
Company for me, as I never leave the house
Support to entertain my son who has ADHD so can be very energetic

The successful applicant will be:

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
