Hours/shifts: Tuesday mornings during term time, All mornings during school holidays. Saturday and Sunday mornings and all evenings. These shifts are to fit in with existing PA
Holiday cover as well but will be happy for a job share if you can only do part of these hours.

Summary
I am a 36-year-old female & I live with my 2 cats. I like to be independent but currently need a lot of support around my flat and with personal care due to a number of health issues after a rough couple of years.

I am happy to help with any training on the job and can provide PPE. The job will involve helping with stoma care, tube feeding, medications, housework, cooking playing with cats & avoiding hospitals.

Other Requirements
• "Exemption is claimed under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9."
• Must be comfortable with cats
• Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours.
• Must be English speaking
• Must have a UK driving license

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

Description
Typical duties

Domestic duties to help keep employers environment clean and tidy - to include
* Light housework- hoovering, washing up, put washing on.
* All rubbish and recycling out
* Feed cats
* Make sure cat litter trays clean and changed
* De-fluff flat from cat fur
* Help organise paperwork
* Help cooking
* Check for out of date food in fridge.
* Putting out clinical waste once a week
* Making up hot water bottles
* Changing the bed
* Make up fresh St Mark’s solution daily

Personal Care:
* Prepare medication for NJ tube
* Run me a bath & wash hair when needed
* Help me dress and tidy bathroom from bath
* Stoma care
* Check blood sugars and be aware of any hypos
* Set up and connect me to my feed St Mark’s solution.
* Looking for signs of low blood sugar and testing to see if I’m having a hypo, then administering medication if needed

Social:
* Help getting to appointments & being an advocate
* Collecting medications from pharmacy
