Summary • I am looking for an experienced and vigilant PA to engage with my son in my home and to accompany my family on days out acting as an extra pair of hands in order that my son can gain trust and accept any change to his routine.• My son is 7 years old and has Autism, global development delay, speech and language delay, sensory processing disorder, Pica (persistent eating of substances with no nutritional value) and ARFID (Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder).• My son is a happy little boy, when he has structure and routine, if this changes he can become anxious. He likes to be busy, and enjoy physical activities such as the trampoline, swimming and trips to the park or theme parks.• This is a rewarding role with all professional training provided. DescriptionTypical duties Personal Care: Nappy changing as required.Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings.Mealtimes very restricted diet due to ARFID, training will be givenFlushing PEG when needed and training will be provided. Social: Acting as an extra pair of hands on family days out. Engaging with my son at home in activities he enjoys and keeping him safe.
