Also cover for holidays and sickness Summary I am 81 year old articulate, intelligent, fit and mobile man looking to employ a further pa to assist me in my day to day life. I have acquired a brain injury (abi), affecting my short and mid- term memory, which can be both frustrating and distressing. A professional friend is required-no personal care involved I need to build trust so that someone can then help with managing my diary, meal planning, shopping and prompting. Someone who can be a buddy/professional friend. Someone who can help me better access my local community and participate in things I enjoy such as golf, the library and to encourage and suggest new activities/days out. I need someone assertive, patient and with a good sense of humour. I have lived a full and varied life from racing cars and motorbikes through to being an English teacher and I can very clearly remember my past up to 15-20 years ago. This role supports a team of two pa’s I believe this could be a very rewarding role for the right person.
