Summary

We are based in East Grinstead and require an enthusiastic person to join our team of Personal Care Assistants looking after a 32 year old physically disabled intelligent man. 

Experience is an advantage but not essential.

Your tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • All personal care requirements, including showering and general grooming, toilet requirements
  • Medical requirements including gastronomy (PEG) care, feeding and flushing, cleaning medical equipment
  • Ventilator and humidifier management including chest physio, cough assist, nebulisation and oral suction, recording fluid management
  • Minimal administrative tasks including completing all necessary checklists, ensuring all equipment is fully charged, cleaned and tidied
  • Domestic requirements as necessary including general cleaning, laundry, ironing, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, changing and making beds
  • Ensuring all necessary medical records are maintained up to date
  • Attending any necessary training courses to ensure medical care is maintained up to date

Part-time, Permanent, various hours available

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
