I walk with the aid of a stick and also use a mobility scooter when out locally.• I am looking for support with personal care/showering/washing/dressing and help to run my home.• I love getting ‘out and about’ and meeting up with friends and socializing, but I need support with some activities such as accessing the community, shopping and attending appointments.• I enjoy things like; visiting the cinema, shopping and visiting coffee shops.• I require a driver with their own car so that I can assess the community. Personal Care: • Washing and bathing/showering – towelling dry/ drying hair• Supervision and/or assistance with showering, drying, hair washing/ brushing as required• Help getting into and out of bath/shower as required• Assistance with applying cream• General hair/skin care• Dressing and undressing/ helping with buttons and fastenings• Assistance with medication i.e. helping to take tablets from foil/packets• Helping with other aspects of personal care as required, for example assisting employer to get changed at swimming pool/gym. Social: • Accompanying and assisting employer on shopping trips when required• Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities, including; trips to the cinema or bowling • Accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required• Occasional longer journeys• The above duties will involve driving the employer in the PA’s car.
