Tasks will involve personal care, preparing meals, general domestic tasks including help with shopping and assisting to access the local community. DescriptionTypical duties Domestic - Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting awayChanging bed linenBed makingGeneral cleaningTaking out rubbish – separating rubbish & recyclingLight housework which may include cleaning, dusting and vacuuming. Minor household maintenance eg changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing occasionally.Preparing drinks, snacks and meals.ShoppingTidyingAny other reasonable tasks Personal Care: Mealtimes e.g. cutting up food, assistance to eatWhen out in the community we may need support transferring when using the toilet. Social:Support with going swimming-must be happy to accompany in the poolAccompanying and assisting employers on shopping trips when requiredAccompany employers when accessing social and leisure activities, such as going to a restaurant for lunchAccompanying employers to doctors/hospital appointments when required, transferring onto dentist’s chairAccompanying and assisting employers on occasional longer journeys eg to visit family membersPushing the employer’s wheelchair when out.
