• Supervise senior support workers including carrying out supervisions and spot checks.
  • Manage the on call phone at weekends as required.
  • Provide on call back up and support to the senior team.
  • Be the first point of call for support workers
  • Lead in providing high quality, person centred care to customers, promoting dignity and choice at all times
  • Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality
  • Mentor and coach new support workers
  • Communicate and share information effectively with customers, colleagues and line managers
  • Deputise for the Care Manager and Deputy Care Manager as and when required.

Salary: £24 480 annum plus additional on-call rate of £25

Hours: 40 hours per week - various shifts including weekend work as required

On-call hours: the Independent Lives care service operates an on call system between 6am and 12am. You will be required to be on call between 5pm to 12am & 6am to 9am at least twice a week.
