Cost-of-living research launch event

Join us in Worthing as we unveil our report on the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on disabled people and carers. This is a chance to meet our researchers and hear the personal stories of those who shared their experiences with us.

For several months now, Independent Lives has been working alongside the NHS, researching the effects of the cost-of-living crisis on disabled people and carers. We're pleased to announce our local launch event in Worthing.

Join us as we share the findings of our research and have a chance to meet those involved in the research, discuss next steps and share your own views on how we can tackle the challenges currently being presented to disabled people and carers in our communities.

What to expect

You will be able to review a full copy of our research available as a booklet to take away. We will also be hosting an introduction, two short films and Q&A. In addition you will have plenty of time to talk with our researchers or with the other attendees as well as providing your own feedback on the cost-of-living crisis.
