With support from NHS Digital, Independent Lives can offer digital skills support to the people in Sussex who are risk of digital exclusion.
Two million over 75’s in the UK are not online which equates to close to 23,000 older people in Sussex. There are also 13.6 million people with a disability in the UK. Of these, 32% lack even basic digital skills.

One to one support

Our digital support worker is able to offer one to one support to individuals within Sussex who are at risk of digital exclusion. We can offer support in people's homes or in a community setting to anyone over the age of 18 with a disability or with health or social care needs.

We also have funds available to purchase devices and data plans for individuals with no other means to access the internet. Funds are limited and only available until 31 March 2022.
