I am looking to employ a Personal Support Assistant to work with my wonderful five year old son.He is a very happy and friendly child who enjoys painting, playing with toys, his ipad, sandpits and in his paddling pool. Due to his Autism, he requires assistance and close support to safely engage in these activities although physically he is fine. This 3 hours per week support will also allow me a few hours respite to spend some quality time with my daughter. The successful applicant would also encourage him to eat and drink independently, take him out into the local community such as play parks, build up a rapport with him and assist him to communicate and express his needs. If raining then support can be carried out at our home. This could be a wonderfully rewarding role for the right person. Are you that person?
