This will be worked 5 hours per day Mon-Thurs and 4 hours on Fri. exact times to be agreed with employer.

Part of the role will be assisting me to manage my anxiety as well as support and encourage me to improve my social interaction skills.

You will also need to take me on public transport at times to learn and support me with travel training and build up my confidence.

You will sometimes be required to drive me to appointments and to social activities in your own vehicle in return for 35p per mile.

I’m also looking for someone with a keen interest in fitness and swimming so we can enjoy these activities together as well as someone that can help me to gain a good knowledge of cooking/baking.

It may take a while for you to build up a rapport with me and to gain your trust.

I need encouragement and support to improve my general daily living and life skills.

I would really like to become more independent and confident.

Ideally, you will love animals (as I have a cat who is important to me) and  enjoy  keeping up to date with soaps, reality programmes and  music.

I like to have regular routines and will need you with me at all times while we are out in the community because of my lack of general awareness and safety.
