Hours/shifts: 11 hours on a Monday (approx. 7.30am – 6.30pm depending on train times) and 5 hours on a Friday (approx. 1.30pm – 6.30pm depending on train times) for the summer term

I am a 15 year old male with autism, dyslexia and I find it difficult to process information in the same way as others.
The job will involve accompanying me on the train and in taxis to my journey to school and back every week.
I normally watch DVDs on the journey which takes up a lot of the time.
I need a lot of patience & awareness of autism along with awareness of the triggers which cause me to feel anxious
I am very eloquent and I make correct observations on what is going on around me, which sometimes leads to others making assumptions on what I am capable of doing.
I am very honest but find it difficult to communicate my feelings. I don’t like crowds which sometimes makes travelling challenging.
I have a very high sense of smell and many triggers cause me to feel anxious and distressed. When I am distressed, I may repeat questions. My rubix cube helps to calm me down.
I spend a lot of time using computers; I am able to build computers as I know all about the components required.
