• The role is to provide day to day care for the employer’s two children and to help them with all activities of daily life, The day will involve:

• 7am – 8am, Personal Care, getting the boys washed, dressed and fed, ready for their school pickup

• 8am – 10am, Escorting the boys to school in the taxi alongside another carer and returning back to the employers home

• 2.15pm – 4.30pm, getting transport from employers home to the boys school and escorting them home

• 4.30pm – 7pm, entertaining the boys, getting them fed, washed and ready for bed

• Please note that you will be working alongside a young team of PAs to look after both children together. Although there may be some lone working on a one to one basis with one of the children.

• My other son speaks verbally and can use up to 3 word sentences. He is a mischievous character and will keep you on your toes. Both are wheelchair dependent lifting and handling involved in the position. Both boys will need a lot of assistance including during mealtimes assistants with eating.

• Training available for the position.


Post 1:
Term time: Mon, Wed, Thurs
7am – 10am and 2.15pm-7pm, plus every other Sat.=23.25hrs/33.25 hours per week alternating.

School holidays: Mon and Wed 9am – 7pm and every other Sat.20hrs/30hrs week alternating
Evening hours available

Other Requirements

Must be comfortable with pets- two dogs, chickens, cats

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.


Nature of the work:
