Both the boys enjoy football, cinema, bowling, swimming. Please note that you will be working alongside a young team of PAs to look after both young adults together. Also there may be some lone working on a one to one basis with one of the young men. I am a mother of 2 young men, one of them has a level of deafness but understands speech and lip reads. He has a lively personality and loves stories. My other son speaks verbally and can use up to 3 word sentences. He is a mischievous character and will keep you on your toes. Both are wheelchair dependent lifting and handling involved in the position. Both boys will need a lot of assistance including during mealtimes assistants with eating.
