Other Requirements Full UK driving licence and access to car is needed to transport me to the Day Centre All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service checkSuccessful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts. DescriptionTypical duties Personal Care: There is no specific personal care involved in this role, however I may need some assistance when out. Social: I need support when visiting the Day Centre which I attend 3 times a week. I will need support and assistance to engage in activities in order to make the most of my time there. A flexible approach will be needed as I may be more inclined to engage depending on my mood. I require you to ensure my safety at all times whilst we are there. Person specificationThe successful applicant will be: • Respectful of the employer’s privacy and confidentiality• Reliable with good time-keeping• Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative• Hygienic, tidy minded and well organised• Patience and possess excellent communication skills• Legally permitted to work in the United Kingdom• Able to work at all times to high standards of Health & Safety Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
