Arts and craft fair

In 2022, Independent Lives attended a christmassy craft fair organised by The Rotary Club of Shoreham and Southwick.

On Saturday 26 November 2022, the residents of Shoreham were treated to the festive delights of The Rotary Club of Shoreham and Southwick’s annual Christmas Fair, all in aid of Independent Lives and St Barnabas House.

The Shoreham Centre played host to a myriad of magical Christmas goodies, arts and crafts, and a terrific tombola. We also had an Independent Lives information stall, spreading the word about our important work supporting disabled people and carers.

Cara Locke our Fundraising Officer, said:

Community events like these make such a difference to our fundraising efforts. Thank you to the Rotary Club for choosing us to raise money for this Christmas.

In total, we raised over £600, and every penny will go toward our vision of creating a fairer society where everyone can participate and has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.

If you’re still interested in supporting Independent Lives, you can still donate through our website. We’re also always open to having a chat about future fundraising ideas.

If you’d like more information or want to explore ways you can fundraise for us, please email us at fundraising@independentlives.org.
