Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Shoreham-By-Sea

Hourly rate: £10 per hour

Reference: DP2207

Hours/shifts: Mondays 7.30-9.00am. (with chance of occasional other shifts at various times)

Summary

  • My 46-year-old son Toby, who lives with us in Shoreham and has learning disability, requires help for his morning routine - getting up, loo, washing, shaving, dressing and eating breakfast.
  • We have a vacancy for Mondays 7.30-9.00am (although the day could be switched if necessary).
  • He does most things himself but needs detailed prompting to keep him focused on what he's doing.
  • There are also occasional opportunities for daytime shifts - weekdays 9.30am to 4pm and Saturdays 11am to 5pm when his regular PAs are not available. This involves 'buddying' him when he goes out and about, taking him (usually in your car) to a day centre or to leisure activities, and prompting him.
