(job share available) Summary:My teenage son has a great sense of humour and loves gaming so if you share any of these attributes that would be ideal. He has a mild learning disability, hearing impairment and is a wheelchair user, he requires support on the three mornings he attends college to help him get ready and be on time for the minibus. This will entail preparing breakfast, prompts to carry out personal care tasks and assistance with dressing and transferring to his wheelchair. On the two days he spends at home he requires assistance at lunch times. This will entail preparing his lunch and providing some company. We understand that one person may not be able to commit to all of the hours so are more than willing to consider a job share. Other Requirements • Must be comfortable with dogs- We have 2 elderly Springer Spaniels. They are both incredibly friendly and i'm sure you'll love their company, as we do. • Non-smoker preferred or someone who is willing to refrain from smoking during work hours. DescriptionTypical duties Domestic: - Preparing drinks, snacks and meals.
