Job Title: Support Worker

Location:             Lancing

Hourly rate:         £9

Hours/shifts: every other Saturday 8.30 am to 1pm, overnight shifts as required, other hours may be available


A support worker is required to help two young people with high functioning autism to build independence, support them with activities, e.g going shopping, going to gym, learn about socialising, and building life skills.

Other Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • UK driving licence desirable but not essential
  • Must have access to own vehicle

All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check

Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.


Typical duties


Personal Care: 

  • Help with dispensing tablets 
  • Assistance with medication i.e. helping to take tablets from foil/packets
  • Support with getting dressed


  • Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities .

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
