We live just outside of Romsey in Hampshire and are looking to find a permanent full time live out nanny/mothers help/housekeeper to join our chilled, fun, relaxed household!! We are a very fun, caring, loving family and are looking to find wonderful nanny/mothers help/housekeeper/ to become an integral part of our family! Experience with pre-schoolers is essential! Must be creative and able to plan fun, age appropriate stimulating activities for two little active boys who just want to play and have fun! We are looking for someone who loves to play and can see the world through a child’s eyes! The boys are out and about having fun most days. Our boys are great and love to be outside exploring, but also love puzzles and games too! Other Requirements Must have a UK driving licence Must have access to own vehicle All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts. Description Typical duties Duties: Vacuum the house once a week. Vacuum the lounge as required! Keep the boy’s downstairs w/c/ cloakroom clean and tidy throughout the day. Clean the upstairs bathroom once a week. Keep the kitchen clean and tidy throughout the day. Mop kitchen floor if needed. Cooking a nutritious daily meals Day to day running of the household Childcare: Mostly shared care with mum at home. Mum will be busy with the new baby, so the nanny will be working with the boys. Some sole charge as required. Babysitting if required (not often!!) Nursery Duties: Normal nanny duties that include: Boys’ laundry. Keeping the boys bedrooms clean and tidy. Keeping the boys’ area and toys clean and tidy. Help with potty training. Reading and writing with the boys. Help the boys to become independent as age appropriate. Modelling and teaching good manners. Provide basic first aid as required. Confident cook – baking with the boys. Safeguarding – keeping the boys safe at all times whilst out and at home. Person specification The successful applicant will be: Skill Set Hold a professional childcare qualification. Experience with toddlers / pre-schoolers. Early Years Learning qualification an advantage but not essential. Being able to plan and organise great stimulating activities for the boys. Being able to confidently bake with the boys and also cook healthy meals for the whole family when required is essential. Up to date Paediatric first aid certificate. Up to date DBS check. A confident swimmer. Driver – 7 seat car provided whilst on duty. Clean driving license. You need to be fun (!) flexible; happy; creative; loving; caring; fit; energetic; engaging; organised; outgoing; calm; patient and not afraid to laugh at yourself! Be willing to travel with the family abroad if required. To start ASAP but we are willing to wait notice periods etc. for the right one!
