Work in social care Working as a Personal Assistant Support Worker HCC906 This job is to support a friendly young boy with Autism, two afternoons a week after school. He communicates through PECS, so a good knowledge of Autism would be strongly preferred. The family are looking for a personal assistant who would be able to supervise him on a Wednesday and Thursday afternoon when he comes home from school, but this has a strong potential of an increase depending on the PA’s experience. He primarily needs support to get changed out of his school uniform and to have food prepared. He’ll also need supervision in and around the house.
