Hours/shifts:  Flexible/Casual hours available – evening/weekends/university holidays
• I am an 18 year old guy looking for support when I am home from university.
• I am looking for someone to assist me to access the community and enjoy fun and leisure activities.
• My PA will also need to be able to support me with general activities of daily living.
• In September I will be studying computer science and artificial intelligence.
• I have cerebral palsy and I am a wheel chair user.
• I am an easy going guy with a good sense of humor.
• I am massive a football supporter and generally enjoy all sports.
• There is no personal care involved in this role
Other Requirements
All applicants must be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check
Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
Typical duties
Domestic - 
• Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
• Helping with laundry, washing and drying
• Loading and unloading the washing machine
• Loading and unloading tumble dryer/washing line
• Changing bed linen
• Bed making
• General cleaning
• Taking out rubbish
• General housework, including cleaning, dusting and vacuuming.
• Shopping
• Accompanying and assisting me with grocery and general shopping when required.
• Accompany and supporting the me when accessing social and leisure activities, for example; going to the gym, going to the pub/clubbing and helping to experience and enjoy university life.
• Occasional longer journeys; for example going to watch football games.
• Driving and accompanying me to social events such as: Cinema, sports club and evening meetings
• The above duties may involve driving the client in the PA’s car, lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car, pushing the manual wheelchair if electric wheel chair is broken.

Previous experience preferred but this is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach to these roles.
