We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven people who want to make a positive difference in our communities and have a genuine interest in our work.
Independent Lives is entering an exciting period of growth and we’re accepting applications for trustees.
Working together we achieve real change in the lives of the people we support - so that we can all participate in our communities and have greater choice, control and freedom.
For us to realise our vision and values, we need highly effective and committed trustees to provide support to our leadership team to help ensure that we achieve our aims.
We are particularly looking for trustees with the following backgrounds:
- Lived experience of disability
- Health & social care
- Legal
We are seeking outstanding people with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the willingness to commit an average of one to two days per month.
Board meetings are held quarterly. We also hold an annual general meeting. We would like Board Members to be involved; to be visible and engage with our members and the public.
